Lakers 12-1. Why does Kobe look depressed?

I watch every game and wanted to write about this after the Sacramento game. But it reasoned that a deplorable defensive game by the Lakers might be the cause. Well along comes a blowout while holding a good offensive team under 100 points. Kobe left his shot at home - so perhaps he was disappointed at him own performance.

But surely Kobe would crack a smile while watching every player on the Lakers score Tuesday night. So what gives? Is the man a bi-polar roller? After all the Lakers are a league best 12-1 and he goes home on game night a rested winner.

Yes my perception is speculation. I don't know Kobe, I've never even spoke with him. Players have lives outside of basketball, so no one knows what could be bothering him at any given moment.

My biggest worry is that basketball is no longer fun to Kobe. Is this how he thought a 12-1 season would feel like? Is there something missing from his life that winning did/does not bring? Perhaps a mid-career crisis for a nearing 30 superstar?

Something to watch as we move through this season.

Player of the game: Jordan Farmar

Did you notice: Devin Harris make himself at home after tumbling into the Laker girls?
